I was introduced to Abyssinians in 2010 and immediately became captivated by this stunning breed, then acquiring a lovely neuter male "Charlbury Phineus" aka Artimus and that lead to the establishment of Allerbeste Abyssinians

I am not new to breeding cats I have shown and bred Persians, Exotics, Siamese, Orientals and Foreign Whites over a 40 year period. My cattery name during that period was "Centura". I had great success with Group 2 Prefix (Breeder) of The Year 1980 & 1981 as well as many Best In Group Awards.

I look forward to many years of pleasure and enjoyment with my Abyssinians which I am

BREEDING FOR QUALITY NOT QUANTITY so there may be a waiting list for out babies.

My sincere appreciation goes to those that have helped me get established in this beautiful breed,

Eileen and Karel Pittaway (Merindalee Abyssinians) for my foundation stud boy the gorgeous cinnamon

DGCH Merindalee Hugh Jackman

Sue and Michael Shawn (Osiris Abyssinians) for the stunning tawny boys

Osiris (V) Russian Kisses aka Sasha

Osiris (V) Joy's Legend aka Loki

Anne  Kirtland for my foundation girl GDCH Charlbury Madeline.

Sue Hatcher for the gorgeous tawny boy

Tijah Poetic Justice

Without the help support and mentoring of these wonderful breeders I would not have what I have today a very promising team of Abyssinians to establish my breeding lines. I will be forever grateful to you all. Thank you with all my heart.

I am heavily involved in South Australian cat management matters through the Feline Association of South Australia Inc (FASA).

Over a 40 year period I  have served in the positions of President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Show Manager, Webmaster and PURR magazine Editor, for the Feline Association of SA Inc (FASA).

At the FASA 2018 AGM I was honoured and humbled to be awarded Life Membership of the association for my service to the association and the cat fancy in general over 40 plus years.

In 2024 we bred our last Abyssinian litter after 40 plus years of breeding various breeds The time was right and we chose to stop on our terms. The lifetime of commitment to our cats has been a delight and pleasure. I am still heavily involved in administration of the Feline Association of SA which has been my pleasure for all my lifetime in cats.
